Yield - 6 burgers
Ingredients
2 ⅔ cups cooked toasted millet
¼ cup onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp parsley flakes
½ tsp thyme
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
1 tsp cumin
4 stalks escallion (green onion, spring onion, Welsh onion), finely chopped
½ cup pre-baked oat flour
¼ cup water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 ℉.
Line a baking tray with non-stick parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add the cooked millet and all seasonings. Mix to combine.
Add pre-baked oat flour to the large bowl and mix to combine.
Add water and knead the mixture with your hands to form a dough. As you knead, squeeze the mixture to help crush the millet.
Once you have formed the dough, break it into 6 equal pieces.
Take each piece of dough, form it into a ball and flatten between your palms until it takes the form and shape of a burger.
Place each burger on the parchment paper-lined baking tray.
Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, then flip and bake for another 5 - 10 minutes, depending on how crisp you want your burgers.
